A Heartfelt Thank You
Dear Fr. Tiano, Fr. Hellwig, Fr. Zuniga, Colleagues, and brothers and sisters in Christ,
As we prepare to embark on this new chapter of our life and make the move to Florida, I find myself overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible kindness and generosity you have all shown my family and me. The going-away reception you organized was nothing short of magical – a beautiful celebration that I will treasure in my heart forever.
Walking into that room filled with familiar faces, warm smiles, and gratitude was deeply moving. The effort, thought, and care that went into planning such a wonderful gathering speaks volumes about the remarkable people I’ve had the privilege of knowing and working alongside with for the last 3 years. Every conversation, every laugh shared, and every moment of that afternoon reminded me of why leaving this community of St Paul VI Parish feels so bittersweet.
Knowing that we carry with us not just memories but also your continued encouragement as we venture into this new mission means more than words can express.
The connections we’ve built here have shaped who I am today, and while distance may separate us geographically, the bonds we’ve formed will remain strong. I am genuinely excited about what lies ahead, but I also feel incredibly fortunate to have been part of such a caring and supportive bilingual and bicultural community.
Thank you for making our time here so meaningful and for sending us off with such love and generosity. I promise to stay in touch and look forward to sharing updates about our new journey with all of you.

Estimados Padres Tiano, Padre Hellwig, Padre Zúniga, colegas y hermanos en Cristo:
Al prepararnos para comenzar esta nueva etapa de nuestra vida y mudarnos a Florida, me siento profundamente agradecido por la increíble amabilidad y generosidad que todos ustedes han mostrado hacia mi familia y hacia mí. La recepción de despedida que organizaron fue realmente mágica: una hermosa celebración que atesoraré en mi corazón para siempre.
Entrar en esa sala llena de rostros familiares, cálidas sonrisas y gratitud fue profundamente conmovedor. El esfuerzo, la dedicación y el cuidado que se pusieron en la planificación de una reunión tan maravillosa dicen mucho de las personas extraordinarias que he tenido el privilegio de conocer y con las que he trabajado durante los últimos tres años. Cada conversación, cada risa compartida y cada momento de esa tarde me recordaron por qué dejar esta comunidad de la Parroquia de San Pablo VI es una experiencia tan agridulce.
Saber que llevamos con nosotros no solo recuerdos, sino también su continuo apoyo al embarcarnos en esta nueva misión, significa más de lo que las palabras pueden expresar.
Las conexiones que hemos construido aquí han moldeado la persona que soy hoy, y aunque la distancia nos separe geográficamente, los lazos que hemos formado se mantendrán fuertes. Estoy realmente entusiasmado por lo que nos espera, pero también me siento increíblemente afortunado de haber formado parte de una comunidad bilingüe y bicultural tan cariñosa y solidaria.
Gracias por hacer que nuestra estancia aquí fuera tan significativa y por despedirnos con tanto amor y generosidad. Prometo mantenerme en contacto y espero compartir novedades sobre nuestra nueva aventura con todos ustedes.
